A lovely old and extremely convenient hotel in New Orleans with outstandingly helpful staff with great service. Had best possible location in the playhouse, very close to Riverfront. Great to have a lobby restaurant for breakfast and dinner.

I had a great time at the hotel during my recent stay. The pool was fantastic, and the staff was super friendly. The hotel's location was perfect, just a couple of blocks away from the Quarter and near the Art/Warehouse District, making it easy to explore the area. Additionally, the hotel's quiet ambiance provided a peaceful retreat from the bustling city.

There were some downsides to my experience. The lack of information provided at check-in was disappointing, and the dated rooms with malfunctioning toilets were a letdown.

Centrally located, Royal Sonesta offers a vibrant atmosphere with a beautiful courtyard. Friendly parking staff contributes to a pleasant stay. Rooms feature quality linens, towels, and amenities, ensuring a comfortable experience. the pool area provides a relaxing escape, though drinks are on the costly side.

Street noise can disrupt relaxation.

Recently renovated rooms that are fresh and come with a balcony 🌟. There are many dining choices here and the food is top-notch. You can also enjoy a heated pool and convenient on-site parking.

This place exceeded all expectations, I would highly recommend it to others.

The hotel is extremely convenient with top-class rooms. the staff, especially Malcolm the doorman, are delightfully helpful. - the rooms have down pillows and hypo-allergenic pillows. - the hotel has a poolside bar. - the location is the best possible.

The room was a nice size and brand-new with a king bed. the staff was willing to help to make us feel welcome. - Terrace and its own balcony were important for us.

PJ's Coffee Cafe serves heavenly coffee and tasty bites, the art collection is impressive, Desire Oyster Bar offers delicious fresh Gulf oysters, and the hotel amenities are top-notch.

The walls are so thin, I could practically join the conversations in the neighboring rooms. Oh, the joys of eavesdropping.
